Recognition
SEI Named Leading Disability Employer by National Organization on Disability
The National Organization on Disability (NOD) Leading Disability Employer seal recognizes companies that demonstrate exemplary employment practices for differently-abled populations.
This recognition is based on data provided in response to the NOD Disability Employment Tracker™, a free and confidential assessment that benchmarks companies’ disability inclusion programs, including climate and culture, people practices, talent sourcing, workplace and technology, and strategy and metrics.
We’re dedicated to growing and improving the work we do around the spectrum of ability. As part of our work in disability employment, we’re proud to have launched our Neurodiversity@Work program in 2018. Our Neurodiversity@Work program seeks to increase neurodivergent populations in employment and includes both full-time and internship opportunities. Highlights of the program include “discovery weeks,” where prospective interns focus on employment-readiness, collaboration, resume reviews, business shadows, case studies and a reverse career fair that is focused on skills each candidate brings.
In addition to Neurodiversity@Work, we have stakeholders across the company focused on providing accessibility to the disability community. We consistently look to improve the candidate experience, and seek feedback from our communities. Our employee affinity group, SEI Diversity, has been a partner to our disability inclusion work since its inception and has helped champion campaigns around different-ability awareness, etiquette, and opportunities to increase accessibility for all.
