Steve Wittenberg is the Director of Legacy Planning in our Private Wealth Management group. He provides tax, estate, philanthropy, succession planning and family governance advice to ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients.
 

Throughout his career, Steve has worked with entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and family owned businesses, providing tax accounting and business consulting services, and practicing tax law and estate planning. Prior to joining our team, his career took him to a “Big 4” accounting firm, a local Fortune 500 company and a partner in multiple entrepreneurial Real Estate brokerage start-up ventures.

Steve has held top positions at accounting and law firms. He has a J.D. and LL.M. in taxation and estate planning from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University, and an M.B.A. from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars and maintains a Pennsylvania Real Estate Brokerage license. He was named one of the Philadelphia Business Journal's 2013 40 under 40.

Steve is very active in Philadelphia area philanthropy, serving on the Board of the Philadelphia History Museum as Secretary, on Drexel's Board of Governors and on the SEI Cares board. He also serves as President of Spells Writing Lab, Inc.—a non-profit dedicated to fostering the love of creative writing in school children. Steve is presently active in the Mural Arts Philadelphia and JEVS Human Services, the World Affairs Council and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.
