Rudy Koitchev

Rudy Koitchev serves as Managing Director of Alternative Investments within SEI's Investment Management Unit. He oversees the team responsible for the IMUs investments in hedge funds and liquid alternatives including manager selection, monitoring and portfolio construction.

Prior to joining SEI in 2009, Rudy spent 10 years in research and portfolio management roles for several funds of hedge funds. Most recently, he was Head of Relative Value and Credit Strategies at Olympia Capital, where he was responsible for sourcing and monitoring fund investments and overseeing several junior analysts. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Ferro Capital, a boutique fund of hedge funds. Rudy also worked for Commerzbank Alternative Investments and Oliver, Wyman and Co, a risk-management consulting firm for banks and other financial institutions.

Rudy earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in engineering and economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a Master of Science in mathematics and finance from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University.
